Andrew Gibbs

Andrew Gibbs is one of Canada's most experienced appraisers of historical Canadian and international fine art. A member of the National Archival Appraisal Board, he worked for over 30 years for fine art auction houses in England and Canada, advising clients on the market value of original paintings, sculptures and prints.

Established in 1997, Gibbs Appraisals Ltd has provided formal appraisals for hundreds of private and institutional clients including for the National Gallery of Canada, Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec, Art Gallery of Ontario, Agnes Etherington Art Centre, Art Gallery of Alberta, Vancouver Art Gallery and Canadian War Museum.
